RATICO is a Moscow-based womenswear brand founded by Valeria Maslova in 2023. The collections feature dresses, sets, tops, corsets, skirts, trousers, and accessories, created for expressive looks and special occasions. The name comes from the Spanish expression El Ratico, which can be translated as "a moment" or "a little while." This idea defines the brand's philosophy: meaningful moments shape life, and a well-chosen look helps you live them confidently and remember them.
CSG's task was to create a cohesive visual system for RATICO and carry it across all key touchpoints with the audience. It was necessary to develop a logo, monogram, corporate identity, and identity elements, create printed materials design, and social media visuals. The next stage was designing an online store with a custom design on the InSales platform, configuring e-commerce functionality, and integrating services necessary for the brand's operation.
The visual identity is built on the idea of a moment that takes on special significance. RATICO speaks to the state of anticipation when a woman chooses a dress for an event, meeting, or personal occasion and pre-shapes the impression she wants to leave. The concept combines restrained luxury, sensuality, and visual precision. There is no excessive ornamentation: the brand's character is revealed through proportions, textures, details, and confident minimalist presentation.
RATICO's visual system is built on minimalist aesthetics, a neutral palette, and a combination of precise typography with more free-form graphics. The color system is based on white, deep black, cool gray, and soft warm gray. This palette allows focusing attention on silhouettes, materials, and product details, and also creates a universal foundation for seasonal photoshoots and collections. The restraint of the main system is balanced by a scattered branded pattern and dynamic graphic strokes. They add texture to the identity and make it more vibrant while maintaining the overall concise character.

We developed a system of printed and packaging products that continues the visual language of RATICO. It includes branded bags, labels, jacquard tags, wrapping paper, postcards, and additional materials for order packaging. Each medium is built on a combination of the logo, monogram, branded pattern, and a neutral color palette. For production, we used designer paper, blind embossing, gold foil, and contrasting textile elements. As a result, the packaging feels restrained yet retains tactility and expressiveness.
For RATICO, an online store with a custom design was developed on the InSales platform. The site continues the brand's corporate system and creates a unified visual impression from first acquaintance to checkout. We designed the catalog structure, collection and product pages, user scenarios, cart, and checkout. Special attention was given to working with photography, typography, white space, and a responsive interface version. The design mockups were fully developed and configured on InSales.
The online store is built on the InSales platform using a custom design layout developed in Figma. The platform allows the brand team to independently manage the catalog, collections, products, prices, stock, content, and orders. The interface is adapted for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
To automate the online store, key technical integrations were carried out. Payment systems, the MySklad warehouse system, and RetailCRM were connected. This made it possible to unify order processing, customer data, stock levels, and the brand's internal processes. An electronic gift certificate service was also integrated into the site. The user can select a certificate, order and pay for it online, and the recipient can apply it toward a purchase.
For the brand, a background graphics system was developed based on multiple thin linear elements. They come together into a complex pattern that can be used in full or in fragments. An additional element became broad graphic strokes resembling paint marks or manual surface treatment. The contrast between precise typography, a delicate pattern, and more free-form graphics creates a recognizable visual rhythm. The identity elements are adapted for packaging, paper, postcards, the website, social media, and presentation materials.
RATICO's corporate identity was adapted for social media. We developed design principles for publications, stories, product selections, and informational content. The visual system combines fashion shoots, concise typography, the branded pattern, and neutral backgrounds. Thanks to a flexible structure, content can evolve with collections while maintaining brand recognition. For two years, CSG managed RATICO's social media, shaping and developing the brand's visual communication. We created content plans, publication and story designs, copy, advertising and product formats. Social media became a full-fledged extension of the corporate identity, supporting a cohesive and recognizable brand image.
